Requirements

* High quality lawyer with top class academic qualifications

* At least four years experience at a leading international law firm

* Experience in structuring and documenting Islamic and conventional finance transactions as well as broader corporate/commercial law experience

* Confident and self-motivated

* Able to take on high degree of responsibility

* Able to work effectively as part of a team

* Effective communicator

* Enthusiastic participant in business development activities, including organising seminars, attending conferences and publishing

* Experience of working in the Middle East is strongly preferred but is not essential

* Fluent in both spoken and written English and Arabic languages

Responsibilities

* Advising clients on legal and commercial issues

* Drafting/negotiating transaction documents

* Managing transactions

* Managing client relationships

* Actively participating in business development/client events

* Training/managing trainees/junior lawyers
