The initial roles and project work will be primarily focussed upon the commissioning of ESD & F&G systems. However due to integration to the plant wide DCS experience of typical interactions / interlocks between the DCS and safety systems will be essential.

Essential Experience

-Recent & proven onshore / offshore installation experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of Triconex ESD F&G Systems as well as DCS

-Experience of Commissioning Addressable Fire & Gas Systems - such as DET-TRONICS or AUTRONICA or similar

-Good knowledge of instrumentation; pressure, flow, temperature transmitters.

-Familiarity with Cause & Effect diagrams and P&IDs.

-Ability to analyse / understand system control application code, structured text, ladder code and combinational logic.

-Good understanding of basic electrical and electronic principles and devices.

-Candidates must have actually done F&G system commissioning and familiar with F&G detection devices and Fire and Gas system operation both buildings and oil and gas installations.

-Familiar with other protection system operation such as . sprinklers, deluge, foam, waterspray, CO2, HVAC interlocks etc.

Preferable Experience

-Experience of working long term in locations such as: Middle East / Former Soviet Union / Africa / Far East / South America etc

Working Pattern / Conditions

Able to work 3 month / 3 week rotation for at least 2 rotations or occasionally but also willing to accept 4/4, 5/5, 6/6.

Good health required as Summer air temperatures can be 45-50c with high humidity.

Able to work through Christmas / New year an advantage for immediate positions.
