What will your typical day look like?

The Director, Cloud Services Platform Leader is responsible for defining, driving, and governing Deloitte Global’s cloud strategy across Azure, AWS, GCP, and GitHub. This leader architects the vision for cloud enablement, oversees the development of scalable APIs, and ensures seamless integration and adoption of cloud services across Deloitte’s business units worldwide. Additionally, the Director provides oversight for Cloud Operations team, ensuring operational excellence and rapid incident response.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

Cloud Platform Strategy & Governance
 

--Define and continuously evolve Deloitte Global’s multi-cloud and DevOps platform strategy, focusing on Azure, AWS, GCP, and GitHub.
-Provide leadership and oversight to the respective leaders of each cloud platform
-Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, and best practices for cloud and DevOps platform adoption and usage.
-Lead the development of cloud adoption roadmaps, standards, and reference architectures.
 

Platform Enablement & API Development

--Oversee the design and implementation of APIs and integration services to accelerate business unit adoption of cloud and DevOps platforms.
-Ensure APIs and platform integrations are secure, scalable, and compliant with Deloitte’s security and regulatory requirements.
-Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reusable cloud and DevOps components and automation frameworks.
 

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

--Partner with Deloitte member firms & business leaders to understand requirements and drive cloud platform initiatives.
-Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on cloud trends, risks, and opportunities.
-Lead change management efforts to promote a cloud-first and DevOps-enabled culture across Deloitte firms & businesses.
 

Cloud Platform Operations

-Provide oversight, strategy, and direction to the leader of the Cloud Operations team, ensuring 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and problem resolution for the DCS cloud platform.
 

Risk Management & Compliance 
 
-Ensure all cloud platform solutions comply with global regulatory, security, and privacy standards.
-Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
-Be a trusted liaison with Cyber teams on matters related to cloud, champion Cyber initiatives, review and provide feedback on Cyber standards & initiatives.

Qualifications
 

--Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
-10+ years of experience in cloud strategy, architecture, or platform leadership roles.
-Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, GCP, and GitHub platforms.
-Proven experience designing, governing, and operating enterprise-scale cloud and DevOps environments.
-Strong background in API design, integration, automation, and operational leadership.
-Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities to achieve project objectives; technically guide projects through to completion. Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality.
-Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence senior stakeholders.
-Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
-Experience managing global, distributed teams.

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $260,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
