PSEG operates under a Flexible Work Model where flexible work is offered when job requirements allow. In support of this model, roles have been categorized into one of four work location categories:
Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.
Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.
Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
This is a "Project" position designed to support project work for a limited duration. While the exact duration of the project is yet to be determined, we currently anticipate a period of 3-5 years based on business needs at the present time following which you will separate from the Company. It is important for you to understand that this period may be shortened based on business needs in the future at which point you will separate from the Company. It is also important for you to understand that this employment is of a limited duration and that you will not be entitled to separation benefits under any PSEG plan at the time you separate from the Company. Director Level approval and waiver will be required for you to bid on other PSEG opportunities within the first 3 years of assignment. From year 4 through the end of your assignment, Director level approval and waiver will not be required. If your assignment ends prior to the anticipated timeframe based on business needs, you will be allowed to bid on other PSEG opportunities without Director level approval from the time you are notified your assignment will be ending through the end date of the assignment.
Job Responsibilities
-Support Manager-HR Business Partners in building and maintaining relationships with business leaders and teams by delivering best practice-based HR solutions.
-Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and programs aligned with business goals and people strategies.
-Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers, including responding to HR-related inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate.
-Participate in HR projects related to employee engagement, performance management, talent management, and organizational development.
-Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to support process improvements of HR products, services, and processes.
-Work with compensation staff ensuring compensation program is managed appropriately; assists managers with job evaluations etc
-Coordinate and support training sessions, onboarding activities, and employee communications.
-Gather and analyze HR data to support decision-making and identify trends or areas for improvement.
-Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Job Specific Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant Human Resources experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years’ relevant HR experience
-General knowledge of HR disciplines such as employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, or employee engagement
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within teams
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Experience using Microsoft suite
-Highly motivated to learn and develop in the HR profession; adaptable and flexible in a changing environment
Desired:
-Experience or coursework related to a Utility/Plant environment
-HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) or progress toward certification
-Experience using success factors/SAP
-Exposure to unionized environments
-Valid driver’s license
