Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to design, build, and optimize multi-channel customer journeys that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. This role requires a blend of technical development skills, CRM strategy, and strong communication abilities to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a Salesforce Marketing Cloud power user, adept in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, SQL query building, and email development (HTML/CSS), with additional knowledge of other CRM platforms such as Adobe Journey Optimizer. They must also excel at managing multiple client expectations simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables while balancing competing priorities.
What will your typical day look like?
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Automation & Journey Development
• Design, build, and optimize complex, data-driven customer journeys in SFMC using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and dynamic content.
• Create and manage automated triggers, event-based messaging, and lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, and push.
• Implement and maintain automations for recurring campaigns, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
Data Management & Analytics
• Write and execute SQL queries for segmentation, personalization, and campaign performance analysis.
• Manage and optimize data extensions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CASL).
• Consolidate campaign and behavioral data into actionable insights, providing recommendations for optimization.
Email Development & Coding
• Develop responsive, accessible, and visually engaging HTML/CSS email templates compatible with multiple devices and inboxes.
• Utilize AMPscript and dynamic content blocks to deliver personalized, contextually relevant experiences.
• Conduct rigorous email testing (Litmus/Email on Acid) for rendering, functionality, and deliverability.
Cross-Platform CRM Expertise
• Support CRM strategy execution across multiple platforms, including Adobe Journey Optimizer and other marketing automation tools.
• Recommend best-fit solutions based on business requirements, leveraging knowledge of different CRM ecosystems.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Manage multiple client accounts and expectations simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables exceed quality standards.
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates, status reports, and recommendations.
• Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration & Communication
• Partner with marketing, product, and data teams to align automation strategies with business goals.
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and documentation to upskill internal teams.

Required
• 5+ years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, or email marketing roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio).
• Strong SQL skills for segmentation, reporting, and data manipulation.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, and responsive email design best practices.
• Proven track record of building automated lifecycle campaigns that deliver measurable business results.
• Experience in cross-channel marketing, including SMS, push, and in-app messaging.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several client relationships and expectations simultaneously.
Preferred
• Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer or other enterprise CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
• Familiarity with deliverability best practices and email compliance regulations.
• Data visualization/reporting skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
