Role- Control Systems Engineer
Salary- £30,000- £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type- Permanent
Location- Newcastle
My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Control Systems Engineer to develop as part of their team.
The Control Systems Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
- Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
- Have knowledge and experience of working with PLC systems in a manufacturing environment
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Control Systems Engineer role will involve:
- Working within the existing engineering technical team
- Working on PLC’s and a range of projects
- Always looking at identifying areas for improvements
- Commissioning activities and testing
- Working from electrical schematics
- Fault finding and resolving any issues
