We are working with a outstanding and high-achieving primary school in Portsmouth that is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher from December 2025.
Responsibilities of this Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher role:
As a Primary Teacher you will stay up to date with educational research and policies through training, workshops, and reading, while actively implementing all school and local authority initiatives.

As a Primary Teacher you will promote a positive school culture by modelling excellent teaching practice, motivating staff, and representing the school in meetings with governors and external networks.
*
As a Primary Teacher you will plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum that challenges all pupils and supports progress in core and non-core subjects.
*
As a Primary Teacher you will monitor pupil progress closely, using data to identify and implement effective interventions that close learning gaps and raise achievement.
*
As a Primary teacher you will collaborate regularly with colleagues and parents to support individual learning needs and communicate curriculum developments.
The Ideal Candidate for this Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher role will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2
*
Be committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons as a Primary Teacher
*
Show excellent classroom and behaviour management as a Primary Teacher
*
Be a team player with a reflective, proactive approach
